Chariklo, thanks for the suggestions. I'm so dense, don't know why I didn't think of looking for a new age shop. duh. I will try another search using new age. I saw somewhere that beeswax candles are the candle of choice. Not sure about what particular INCENSE STICKS to get. Thx again- Leslie-

Thanks Xanthippe, a plant is a great idea
Heaven, I have checked the net for stores but all I can seem to find are websites that are for ordering stuff online. I would rather go to a store in person and SEE the items up close and personal. If you know of any stores in the Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, or Milton area please let me know. Shamanistic music, now I never even thought of that. Thx. for the link.
I know the Yule log is also something that one is to receive, so I may have to get my hubby to go into the woods out back and get one to give them. I want to give something that has special meaning for them.

WAHHH, never made it there, damn! Was working outside in one of the fields the day before, trying to catch up on necessary chores before winter, and dislocated my right ankle again! (Screwed it up at Easter the first time) Popped the sucker back into place again but now I can barely stand on it. Took 3 months to feel semi-normal last time. Oh well, there's always next year (unless of course the Mayans were right, then it won't matter anyway, lol). <<<just kidding about the Mayans. - Leslie -

Anthony, great teaser for the Chapter lol. (this may be a double post--first one totally messed up and disappeared) Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the story and the progress between Rose & Wyatt. I must patiently wait until next week for the next Chapter. Thanks again for making this available for us to read. Leslie

All suggestions would be very much appreciated. Have no idea where to even shop to buy something appropriate. I live in Southern Ontario, just 40 km west of Toronto. HELP!
Thanks, Leslie

Congratulations Anthony on receiving such a positive review. I am looking forward to the first book in the trilogy. I believe your book(s) will appeal to a large audience as so many religious groups believe an endtime scenario not unlike the JW's. It seems that the only difference between these groups is the religious affiliation of the survivors. Leslie

Poztate: thx re: trigger against the wall, I didn't know that
Hortensia: I make sure there is nothing accesible for them to eat, I am a bit obsessive when it comes to vacuuming so there aren't even crumbs laying around and no garbage. I don't know why they bother to come back when there is no food. No pets either, so no pet food laying around.
Heaven: I like the idea of live trapping. Will look into that. I have a feeling my mice are a cross breed with either someone's discarded pet mice or even hampsters. They are cute and have long hair. It is disturbing to see them in the trap lifeless. They look more like pets than vermin.
Lost1: ahh chocolate. I guess I could share with them. Especially if I live trap them.
Cobalt Cupcake: LOL, aww that is so cute
Satanus: highly intelligent it seems and yes they are great survivors.
James Woods: Kitties have not been taught that it is impolite to play with their food! LOL
MC RubberMallet: That must be it. I will just have to go downstairs and put my foot down and give them a firm but kind talking to. I'm sure they will feign compliance and then laugh behind my back and carry on as usual. hahaha
jgnat: OMG, definitely a quease alert. It is a great idea but one I could not do. The thought of the poor thing swimming for who knows how long before getting too tired and then drowning...I would bawl my eyes out.
Mamochan13: Oh yes, the "gift". How lovely, I guess your cat was delivering breakfast in bed. LOL Years ago I had a cat that would deposit it's treasures at the door step. Nice gesture kitty, but you can keep it.
